We accept personal checks, cash or money orders.  Payment is due at the end of each organizing session unless other arrangements have been discussed and agreed upon.

How long will this take?

Each project is different.  During your Needs Analysis we will discuss the project in detail and provide estimates on timing.  Each organizing session is 3 hours.

Do I need to be present during the organizing session?

Some time will be required where we will work together to review your needs but this time can be arranged around your schedule.  It is important that I get a good sense of what a client's individual likes and dislikes; this is why I need to spend some time with each client.

Do you work hands-on or just consult?

Hands-on work is an essential part of our service.  As we progress through the project we provide advice for maintaining the space.

Are you going to make me throw EVERYTHING away?

No. We have stuff we like too. However, we will provide you with options for how to purge items you no longer have a need for. Options include donating, selling, or possibly even just reassigning. We will help you prioritize what is most important to you.  The space that we make by purging those items no longer of service to you will allow you easier access to those items that matter most.

What are the benefits of being organized?

• You will be able to get the most important things done first.
• You will be able to easily locate things when you need them.
• You will save money by reducing your storage needs and eliminating redundant purchases, as well as avoiding late fees on your bills
• You will feel more in control of your life

Why should I hire Clutter Bug Organizing rather than organizing myself?

If you could do it yourself, you would have already done it!  Reasons why you haven't:

• You can't justify taking the time to organize when there are so many other pressing tasks
• You never learned organizing skills
• Your clutter has too much emotional context for you to tackle on your own

How much do you charge for a consultation?

A consultation fee of $80 is required.  If, however, a project results from the consultation, the fee is used as a deposit, making the consultation free.
